Effective July 1, 2025, these Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PAYPORTO's payment processing platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms, last updated June 4, 2025.
PAYPORTO may only be used for legal business transactions. Account registration requires verified business credentials, valid tax ID, and completion of our merchant verification process.
User Management & Security
Implement role-based access controls with unique credentials for each user. Multi-factor authentication is mandatory for all administrator accounts. Regular security audits are required.
Prohibited Activities
Prohibited transactions include illegal goods/services, unauthorized intellectual property, pyramid schemes, and any activities violating applicable laws or regulations.
Uptime Guarantees & System Availability
Core Payment Processing
99.95% uptime guaranteed for all payment processing functions, measured monthly.
Administrative Dashboard
99.5% uptime guaranteed for management interfaces and reporting tools.
Maintenance Windows
Scheduled maintenance occurs Tuesdays 2:00-4:00 AM EST with 72-hour advance notice.
Service Credits
Automatic credits of 5% of monthly fees for each 0.1% below guaranteed uptime.
Service Level Agreements
Support Response Times
Tier 1: 15 minutes (24/7/365) via chat, email, or phone. Tier 2 Technical Support: 1 hour during business hours.
Transaction Processing
Standard transactions: 3 seconds or less. Batch processing: completed within 1 hour of submission.
Issue Resolution
Critical issues: 2 hours. Major issues: 8 hours. Minor issues: 3 business days.
Enterprise Support
Enterprise plans include dedicated Customer Success Manager and quarterly performance reviews.
Legal & Compliance
Regulatory Compliance
PAYPORTO maintains compliance with all applicable payment processing regulations including PCI-DSS Level 1, GDPR, CCPA, and regional financial regulations. We implement mandatory KYC and AML procedures for all merchant accounts.
Data Protection
Your data is protected through end-to-end encryption, strict access controls, and regular security audits. We maintain comprehensive audit trails with a minimum 7-year retention policy for all transactions and account activities.
Liability & Disputes
Our liability is limited to direct damages not exceeding fees paid during the 6 months prior to claim. Disputes are resolved through a defined escalation process, with binding arbitration as the final resolution method.
Terms, Termination & Modifications
Contract Terms
Initial term is 12 months with automatic renewal. Written termination notice required 30 days prior to renewal date.
Account Closure
Early termination incurs a fee of 30% of remaining contract value. All pending transactions must be settled before closure.
Data Management
Transaction data retained for 7 years. Account data deleted 90 days after closure unless otherwise required by law.
Modifications
Terms may be modified with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new terms. Material changes require affirmative consent.
